Rafael Nadal wins his 6th Open

Rafael Nadal wins his 6th Open title at Roland Garros after defeating Roger Federer 7-5, 7-6, 5-7, 6-1 in the final. He joins Bjorn Borg as the only 2 players to have won 6 titles in Paris. For Nadal it is his 10th grand slam win.

New look Socceroos win in Adelaide!
 A very impressive Australian team missing the big stars defeated New Zealand 3-1 yesterday in Adelaide. A crowd of 21,281 enjoyed the display of a host of new boys with Josh Kennedy scoring 2 goals and James Troisi one  from a penalty.
Coach Osieck was delighted at the performance of his young charges.

Petanque on show on Sunday 29th May at the Blacktown Bowling Club, Lismore Street. The NSWPL State Mixed Triples start at 9am on Sunday. Come and watch the best players in NSW do battle for the championships. Lunch of roast beef/chicken rolls will be available.
   Dholl purri and french cakes will be on sale in the afternoon.
